Let Freedom Ring

We can fill our thoughts with the 6 o’clock news, disasters, crimes and brokenness reflecting a broken world. We can listen to the whispering deceit of the enemy echoing hopelessness or we can choose Freedom! The freedom of knowing that the enemy is the deceiver, the accuser, the perpetuator of fear, anxiety, shame, and hopelessness. The truth shall set you free! John 8:31-32 So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in Him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.” The truth is … we live in a broken world and we are broken people, but we are God’s children. When a child makes a mistake the loving parent only dislikes and intends to correct the mistake. The child is not the mistake but ALWAYS the beloved of the parent. Nothing we do, have done or are in the midst of doing can separate us from the love and protection of our Father. Nothing can diminish the brokenness of Jesus body to finish our brokenness. John 19: 29 … He said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. To listen to the lies of the deceiver is to remain in bondage. John 6:28 then they said to him, “What must we do, to be doing the works of God?” Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.” Let the truth set you free!!!!!!
