Pray Without Ceasing
Hello Friends!
It has been quiet the year of reflection. I was posting every month last year but life has a way of moving so quickly. I lost 2 dear friends this year and I am becoming a grandmother any day. So it has been a time of deep reflection. Now, I am coming out of the cave and sharing those insights. Life insights as I ponder birth and death.
Colossians 2:2 “That their hearts may be comforted, being knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is Christ Himself.”
I will speak to the mothers since God so blessed us to be the physical vehicle of which life enters this world. The gatekeepers of children’s lives whether we parent, auntie, foster, teach, grandmother or mother. I am so grateful for that great cloud of witnesses to my life that went before me on their knees and prayed without ceasing when I was too young and naïve to even know or realize I needed the protection and unconditional love these prayer warriors provided in my life.
Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
With so much out there in this broken world. So many voices that the enemy of the spirit has to deceive and lie to our children. We have become the unpopular out dated unintelligent voice. They are not listening but God is listening. I encourage you to cry out without ceasing for your children, for our children!
Psalms 34:17 “The righteous cry, and the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.”
We are in an age old battle of spiritual warfare and we possess the most powerful and only weapon. No matter the hurt, the pain, the fear, the disappointment, the embarrassment and circumstance. No matter the unfairness of the situation, cry out knowing your God is victorious! We would never deny our children any true or any right thing. Do not deny them the gift of protection, truth and eternal life.
1 John 1:4 “ I have no greater joy than this, to hear my children walking in the truth.”
You possess the greatest gift you can ever give our children. PRAY WITHOUT CEASING!
1 Samuel 1:27 “For this child I prayed and the Lord have given me my petition which I asked of Him.”
1 John 3:22 “Whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.”
